JamesMasterLies has now been in operation for over 2 years, with close to 170,000 page views and 2,500 plus comments. A lot of interest indeed from all quarters.
Indeed we have needed to delete many comments in order to improve the readability of the site, so regular readers of this site may notice some changes as a result.
As always we try to keep with true facts about James Home Services so as to provide a better education for anyone looking to buy into a James Franchise.

I think good people spend too much money getting into jhs for such little return. I sincerely hope, that throughout this process some good, and some change comes of this site. The change part though might just be wishful thinking with such a huge ego at the helm – and maybe that needs to change to – (the captain of the ship – lets face it, he’s only really got it on autopilot anyway.
I would be more then happy to donate towards this sites endeavors in any legal action bought upon it by the franchisor.
the jhs profile information on james master true site
says:
“JAMES HOME SERVICES MASTER FRANCHISEES.
Foundered by Robert James over the last eighteen years, James’ Home Services has grown from a one-person operation to a 400-franchisee-plus network covering Australia, performing $24 million worth of services per year, with further international expansion planned for the future”
SO I WONDERED “foundered” where does “foundered” fit in with this bit of information. so I had to understand the definition at a deeper level because I wanted to really understand what subliminal messages are jumping around in there/what are they trying to tell us with such an informative attention grabber.
v. foun·dered
v.intr.
1. To sink below the surface of the water: The ship struck a reef and foundered.
2. To cave in; sink: The platform swayed and then foundered.
3. To fail utterly; collapse: a marriage that soon foundered.
4. To stumble, especially to stumble and go lame. Used of horses.
5. To become ill from overeating. Used of livestock.
6. To be afflicted with laminitis. Used of horses.
“foundered” is a very descriptive word isnt it.
Aptly used in this case by RJ!

Magnificent web site. A lot of useful info here. I am sending it to a few friends so they know better. And obviously, thanks on your sweat!
Hi Ian. I have been reading this site for some time now. One thing to remember is there are existing fanchisees out there trying to make a living. The franchisees in my area do a great job and are well regarded and respected. One franchisee has won a Pride of Workmanship Award. Please everyone keep your comments to Robert James only it will be very easy for the disgruntled comments to flow over to the franchisees and they could loose work.
Hi Carol Brandt nice to see some common sense here. There are some great businesses within JHs and good Master Franchises as well, in general the businesses do really well just a shame that Robert can’t just say sorry I screwed up and will try to do better instead of sticking the boot into the masters all the time. Pity he doesn’t retire and let someone ethical and with a more business sense run the company – for the good of the company
